Embrace change

At this point, I think all of us are aware that life has changed. At first the idea was to survive this until life returned to normal, but is that what we actually want? Everyone I have talked to has enjoyed slowing down, maybe not every part of it, but there are definitely some benefits to staying home more! As this time of “stay home, stay safe” has a possible end in sight we need to think about the changes we have made because of this, and decide if we want to keep any of these changes, and if so, what needs to change going forward.

What steps can you take this week to set up a better future for you and your family? Start having conversations about that now. Include your spouse and your kids in these conversations. Ask things like, what have you enjoyed about this past week? What do you miss about life pre-covid? What is your favorite thing we have ever done as a family? Invite God into these conversations. Proverbs 3:5-6 says that God will direct our path if we seek His will.
