Children's Ministry

Kids are important to us! All of the kids here at East Hills add to the richness, energy, and creativity of our church. We offer children's programs run by trained volunteers with a desire to share Jesus love with others. We currently offer kids ministry at our 10:30am Sunday gathering.

health and safety

• Your child's safety is a priority to us! because of that, everyone who serves in Children's Ministry undergoes a thorough background check.

• We check in every child, giving each child a name tag and each parent a corresponding pick-up tag.

• We also ask that all families follow our wellness policy as follows:
  o No fever greater than 100* in the past 48 hours.
  o No runny nose or cough in the past 48 hours.
  o No vomiting or diarrhea in the past 48 hours.
  o No known case of or exposure to covid19 in the past 14 days.

when you arrive

When you arrive at East Hills, you can head directly downstairs to the double doors at the North end of the building to check your children in. You and your child will be given your matching ID tags and you can escort your children directly to their classrooms and pick them up there afterwards.

Newborn - 2 years old

At East Hills, we invite you to bring your infant into the service with you.  If at any time you would like to calm, nurse, or change your baby in a quiet space; you are welcome to use our Nursery room downstairs.  We live stream the service in the room and you'll find complimentary basic baby supplies, toys, and snacks.

3 years old - 1st grade:

After signing your kids in you will find that our preschool class is a fun and cheerful room full of age appropriate toys. You can drop off your children at the doorway and be assured that our trained volunteers are excited to present a meaningful and creative program designed to express the reality of Christ's love to each child. Your preschooler will be encouraged to participate in a variety of activities geared to reinforce the days lesson and will enjoy play time with friends. Enjoy the service, if your child needs you we will page you. You can pick your child up in the preschool room when the service ends.

2nd - 5th grade

Elementary age kids start out in their classroom, they have an engaging lesson aimed to help them develop a deep and real relationship with Jesus and then they head into the Community Room to play some active games, when the service is over you can pick your child up there.
