About the Event:
Not your traditional retreat.
John 15:1-8 reminds us that without staying connected to the Vine, we are unable to produce much, if any, fruit. If there were ever a season where we have felt isolated and disconnected, it would be the season we find ourselves in presently. The theme of this years retreat is Remain. We are passionate about finding ways to remain connected to the Vine and each other.
Join us this year for a hybrid digital experience from a variety of settings. Choose your personal level of comfort and meet in a pair, small group or with a group of women at one of the church campuses to watch prepared, streamed messages, from speaker Leslee Forrester and your church friends and family. If you want help finding a group, let us know in the registration below!
While many details aren't how we'd prefer to plan and there will be no overnight shenanigans, we hope that you'll still be intentional in setting aside time for fellowship, growth and laughter with your church sisters. There will be many opportunities to help, including hosting a small group in your home.
In looking at the bright side, an online event allows us the freedom to provide this content in whatever capacity you are comfortable. If you are not normally one to gather in a large group; feel free to stream the content with us from home.
Women’s Retreat Guest Speaker
Leslee Forrester, Mosaic Church, Portland, Oregon, is a passionate life-long learner and an exuberant communicator of truth and grace. She is a licensed professional counselor, a seminary student, and speaker at seminars, churches, and retreats. Married to Anthony, stepmom to Sam and Logan and mom to Grace, Leslee spends her downtime seeking quiet moments with Jesus while keeping her puppy appeased.
She's on a mission to help people grow and heal and become all God has created them to be. Her messages weave together emotional concepts with spiritual truths to address the heart, soul, mind, and body of both, women and men. Her most favorite things include a good cup of coffee, date nights with her husband, cuddling with her kids, reading an inspiring memoir, and traveling the world.
